At the Alberta E-Business Leadership Awards Gala in Edmonton on November 28, 2002, Agri-Trend Agrology Ltd. was recognized as Agrivalue E-Business Of The Year.
Headquartered in Alberta, Agri-Trend Agrology Ltd. is an independent knowledge-based consulting firm, which provides agronomic and business leadership to clients throughout North America. Their expertise lays in the development, design and implementation of professional nutrient management plans with a focus on soil chemistry, plant physiology, crop nutrition and environmental sustainability.
With Clarity as a technology resource, they created a profitable entrepreneurial model called “The Strategic Crop Plan Business ProcessTM, delivered through independent agronomists (Agri-CoachesTM) or agri-retail partners (Agri-Trend AssociatesTM).
The Alberta Leadership Awards program is unique in that it honors those companies, not-for-profit groups, educational institutions and government departments which have demonstrated leadership and success in electronic commerce, learning, community support and other innovative ways of using the Internet.
Agri-Trend was recognized for the work done on the development of MySCP Netware™ which is an on-line, real time, encrypted, fully integrated agronomic data management system that allows access to production data by Strategic Crop Plan™ farm clients as well as their Agri-Coaches (agronomists) and supervising Senior or Head Agri-Coaches.
